Stacey's is your classic small town bar and restaurant. No bull here, you sign your own name to the wait list for a table and wait for the bartender to notice you to order a drink. Everyone is friendly and in a good mood here, just don't expect anything too fancy. We came in for a friends birthday and ordered drinks while we waited for a table. The drinks are all bottled, nothing on tap here. Our food was amazing! I had the tenderloin which was outstanding and the sides were great too. Can't wait to visit Stacey's again, the best kept local secret in town!

We love Stacey's for a good Friday /Saturday night drink .. However the past 2 times we have gone for dinner we sat on the bar side and could not even get a drink let alone a menu! 20 minute plus wait before we walked out .. Without anyone acknowledging us.. Very disappointed in the service both times!!

Great food. Steak sandwich was one the better ones I've had in a while. One of the steaks ordered medium rare was served we'll done... I'm guessing this was a communication error and not incompetence. They comped that steak. This place needs two or three local beers on tap for the tourists, though the beer selection is good.

Not sure what's happened. This used to be a place for a great steak and down home service. Last two times for us have been lousy. Last night with a party of 6, arrived at 6pm to an empty restaurant. Took 15 minutes just to get our drink orders. We intended to get appetizers but the waitress took so long coming back we jumped right to the steaks. Half the table received their meal 30 minutes later and the other half 10 minutes after that. One steak was cooked properly with the rest arriving overcooked and lukewarm. Most were not of the quality you used to get here. Given its a 40 minute drive over a mountain pass, we won't be returning anytime soon.

**I have only been here after pre-drinking.** Booze to the Right, Food to the Left. Food is good to great! Best kept secret before getting back to civilization! Local experience with a mid-scale pricetag? Pony Bar is a lot further off this path, but same/fun experience.

We went on a Monday evening, and were surprised at the crowd, but after tasting our meal, realized why--food was great, service outstanding. I'm a vegetarian and had no problem finding good "sides" on the menu to fill me up; one guest had a steak done to perfection, which in his case was seared on the outside and really rare in the middle--he was thrilled. Atmosphere is Montana casual as is the dress--cowboy boots and flip-flops sit next to each other. I'm pretty sure they don't accept reservations, my kind of place. Although we're local (our guests were from out of state), we never patronized Stacey's, and for the life of us can't figure out why, but the restaurant is now on our must-visit-again list.

Fantastic service! Walked in at 6pm and got seated right away. Had a party of 6. All appetizers were delivered in less than 15 minutes and meals in less than 20! Tara was absolutely fabulous! We'll be making this a tradition every time we are back in the Gallatin Valley!

Interesting place. I was definitely drawn to the authenticity. But the waitress was almost endearingly without-care for our experience. Not sure what to make of it. The burger was less than I expected for such a place. But I honestly wasn't sure what I expected. Absolutely stellar decor, interesting photos, artifacts and stories though.

I stopped in for the first time in 25 years and had a great steak (NY strip). Cooked a perfect medium rare. It was a very flavorful steak, definitely stood out as a step above the norm. The sautéed mushrooms were however not so good. I am guessing they came from a can or were cooked early and sat around until reheated. I will still be back, and sooner than 25 years.

One star only because the service here is beyond slow. Food is good and people are nice but we went here three times and had different servers each time. If you have 3 plus hours for dinner - then absolutely come by and have something to eat - he onion rings are great! If you don't like sitting for 1.5 hours after you order then go just about anywhere else in the greater Bozeman area. Again this is after 3 different visits - no change in service or speed on any of our times

Best jalapeño cheese burger with homemade chips. Excellent service, friendly people, and good prices. Oh, and the piggy wings with plum sauce are outstanding. The thought of a plum sauce did not sound good. Wound up liking it so much that I had to dip my homemade chips in it. The review I read about their prices of their steaks being too high seemed a little unrealistic. Their prices are lower than most restaurants in Bozeman, and better than most. I'll be back- a lot! The waitress was so helpful and friendly that our party just about invited her to eat with us!

The service was pretty good, and there were some nice menu choices. On this particular day, it was oppressively hot in the restaurant. I don't believe any windows were open, and the motley assortment of fans were just not cutting it. My advice would be to invest in some sort of air conditioning. As for the food, my dining companions really seemed to enjoy their steaks and burgers. They come here fairly regularly. I had the special. It was a somewhat odd, but fairly tasty, prime rib stroganoff. I thought the steak prices were a bit high, and the beer could have definitely been colder.

Best burger in the Bozeman area. Great bloody mary's too! This place is an absolute throwback to the Wild West. There are bullet holes in the ceiling!

I really like this place. Great steaks, and burgers. Good for Lunch or Dinner and friendly staff. It is pretty small inside but being outside Bozeman I haven't had to wait very long to get a seat. They have the best steaks in the Bozeman area that I have discovered.

One of the Best Steak places in Western Montana. Small restaurant, great friendly staff, excellent prices, and the STEAKS are the BEST!

Stacy's is a fun place with a great atmosphere....however, the current bartenders are slow, not friendly, or fun in any way. The most recent band selection has also been poor and just plain boring. This place has real potential and I wish it would just revert to the fun honky tonk hangout it used to be... Who would care If the menu was the same and the bartenders were slow. There is till great music on the jukebox!

Let my explain my 3 star choice. Just got done eating here and everything was perfect. Very sweet server my husband and in laws steaks were huge and cooked perfect. Sides were good and so was our apps. My burger was cooked through but yet still pretty juicy. My son even ate all of his kids pasta and thats a really big deal. My reason for three stars is i went to the bar last week and had a horrible time! The bartender was rude and treated us like we shouldnt even be there. The owners and mangment needs to look into this issue. We are paying customers. Without us you wouldnt have a business. And it looks like im not the only person whom has mentioned this same thing so there must be a problem. I wont ever go to the bar side again. Ill stick to the other bar down the road called The Game. But if u want great steaks fairly priced come here. If u want to get treated like crap go have a few drinks at the connecting bar...
